Sacrificing my body

I got this in an email from an old Young Life buddy.
I can’t get it out of my head.
“If you offered your body as a living sacrifice to God each day in a real way, what would that entail?”
“If we are doing any less, are we living for Jesus?”

I want to run really far and raise a lot of money

I called my ultra-marathon running buddy Pat on Wednesday to see if he wanted to run together this Saturday. After telling me he’d be away with his family he asked me, “Have you thought about running the endurance run?”
He was referring to the Presque Isle Endurance Classic. It’s a pretty simple race. The Erie Runner’s [...]

The old golden rule used to be, “When in doubt, gross ‘em out”…

I have the opportunity to win my youth group a party at a tricked out youth center. It’s at a special fundraising event at a local professional sports team’s game to raise money and food for the homeless.
All I have to do is win a cereal eating contest.

It has occured to me though that this agnostic may know [...]

The labor and delivery went extremely well! Less than 7 hours total and about 5 minutes of pushing.
Here’s some pics we took over the course of yesterday…

What’s the win for speaking?

I gave the message during our services last week for the first time here at Grace. It’s something that I do so infrequently that I have a very difficult time handling it. I’m awkward in my preparation, I worry if I can communicate effectively to an adult audience, I don’t know what to do the [...]
