Rick, Don, and the candidates

I haven’t seen Rick’s interviews. Got ‘em recorded and just waiting for a few spare hours when I don’t feel like playing Lego Star Wars.
I saw Don’s prayer the other day. I liked it a lot.
I’m just thrilled these two events took place. It seemed like bridges being built instead of walls.
Don’s first post on [...]

Maybe a slap in the face would do it

How can you miss it when God puts the most amazing opportunities right in front of you?!?!
Maybe I’m missing something as well…

How do you leave the seat in a unisex restroom?

In our office suite we have a restroom/storage room with 1 commode in it.
What is the proper commode etiquette?
Do men leave the seat down?

Except the equestrian stuff. And they shouldn’t even be there anyway

Michael Phelps consumes 10,000 calories a day? Riiiiight…

But still…
I’ve seen a few reports on how and what he eats. If you are the greatest swimmer ever… the most decorated Olympian ever… you [...]

What if you don’t like the worship?

While you’re in your typical Sunday morning worship service…
Is it possible to worship God while you’re judging how you’re being led in worship?
I don’t think so.

I don’t know how to feel but I feel

Some new friends of mine had twins, one boy and one girl, born via c-section 3 months premature 2 weeks ago. I drove down to be with the family while the babies were being delivered. Since I’m a youth pastor, I bought them all pizza and pop. I saw the kids wheeled out in the incubators.
Not cool.
Two days [...]
