What I want driving me more and more

In a discussion about great churches, ones that are making a difference in people’s lives, I made the comment…

“The great churches seem to have singular focus on reaching non-Christians and doing it in an extremely excellent way.”

This takes a TON of work. It’s sooooo easy to coast and ride. But the best leaders can’t stand doing that. Coasting and riding drives makes them depressed and frustrated and that drives them to action over and over again.

  1. I totally agree with this. I know we’ve had the discussion about Dan and my calling, but I think the thing that makes this church work so well for us is the desire on everyone’s part in our congregation to reach our community for Christ. That is not something we have found in many churches. Most are content with making church for Christians only. This has been one of the best churches we have ever been in!
